My first tale.
A windy meadow walk, black knit cardigan, table with crayon marks and my path to simplicity.
Hello there. Let me introduce myself by telling you a little tale.
This morning I came from a long windy walk through swaying fields and meadows. From a walk at my favorite place. Fully in awe for seeing a pair of doe running elegantly from little pine tree field. I grew up there, between those yellow-hued hills and valleys, hearing my mother's voice calling the three of us to wave farewell to flock of wild geese from our autumnal porch. I had one beautiful childhood. And a beautiful place to live life, finding simplicity everywhere.
As I write this, I'm still wearing my black knit cardigan I was wrapped in during my morning walk. But now I'm holding my little boy and sipping warm tea from my favorite chipped mug placed on our table with a few crayon marks. Even thought I want to have a little home between some yellow-hued hills and valleys, here in our little city apartment I seek simplicity the most.
Here I'm creating our family stories and making home. Me, a minimalist with a soft spot for burning beeswax candles in my treasured, simple, white ceramic candle holder. Always looking forward to finding some vintage pieces waiting to be repaired, reused and repurposed. By living simply and with less I'm striving to walk this life more sustainably and wholehearted. So this is my journal of life wonders, motherhood tales and simplicity seeking ways.
I look forward to sharing my little tales with you.
